Metarun V2 staking comes with many changes and exciting additions over the V1 staking. These include NFT character rewards, up to 119% Dynamic APY, Danvig’s exclusive lounge, Genesis ART collection (Free Mint) WL, Early access (dev’s build), In-game items, and much more.
In this article, we will explain the details of the staking v2 program and why it will be an important part of the $MRUN ecosystem.
🟢 MRUN token holders can choose between three pools, which vary in Time, APY, and NFT rewards. There will be three time-locked pools where the staking period and amount of stake will decide the type of reward.
Claim rewards: Users can reclaim their tokens (principal amount) and accumulated rewards at full maturity, or they can reclaim their rewards (only) and stake them again in a new pool.
Early Unstake: V2 staking also allows you to early unstake. Early unstake will allow you to reclaim your accumulated rewards but penalize your principal amount. The penalty option will invite loyal $MRUN holders and provide more value to the NFTs (Staking rewards). Check out the complete staking details below.
Note: Tokens accumulated through penalty will be automatically burnt
Details about Staking Pools
A total of three staking pools will be available in the V2 staking: Classic, Epic, and Legendary. Each pool will offer a varying APY depending on the category of the pool, where classic will have the least APY and Legendary having the highest APY, respectively. There is going to be no hard cap on the staking pools.
— CLASSIC Pool Details
- Duration: 3 months
- APY: 30%
- Min Stake Amount for APY: ≥ 1 MRUN
- Min Stake Amount for P2E NFT: ≥ 250,000 MRUNs
- Dynamic APY: 54.12%
- Early Unstake Penalty: You get the accumulated rewards but are Penalized 7.5% of the principal amount
- Early Unstake Penalty (Staked amount for APY+P2E NFT): You get the accumulated rewards but are penalized 30% of the principal amount.
Penalty = 7.5% (if staked for APY) of the principal amount or 30% (if staked for APY+P2E NFT) of the principal amount.
Note: APY Rewards accumulated are not penalized
— EPIC Pool Details
- Duration: 6months
- APY: 50%
- Min Stake Amount for APY: ≥ 1 MRUN
- Min Stake Amount for APY + P2E NFT: ≥ 500,000 MRUNs
- Dynamic APY: up to 90% (est % of APY + P2E NFT rewards)
- Early Unstake Penalty (Staked amount for APY): You get the accumulated rewards but are penalized 12.5% of the principal amount.
- Early Unstake Penalty (Staked amount for APY+P2E NFT): You get the accumulated rewards but are penalized 50% of the principal amount.
Penalty = 12.5% (if staked for APY) of the principal amount or 50% (if staked for APY+P2E NFT) of the principal amount.
Note: APY Rewards accumulated are not penalized
— LEGENDARY Pool Details
- Duration: 12 months
- APY: 70%
- Min Stake Amount for APY: ≥ 1 MRUN
- Min Stake Amount for APY + P2E NFT: ≥ 1,000,000 MRUNs
- Dynamic APY: up to 119.5% (est % of APY + P2E NFT rewards)
- Early Unstake Penalty (Staked amount for APY): You get the accumulated rewards but are penalized 17.5% of the principal amount.
- Early Unstake Penalty (Staked amount for APY+P2E NFT): You get the accumulated rewards but are penalized 70% of the principal amount.
Penalty = 12.5% (if staked for APY) of the principal amount or 70% (if staked for APY+P2E NFT) of the principal amount.
Note: APY Rewards accumulated are not penalized.
In conclusion, v2 staking will allow Metarunners to stake their MRUN tokens, Earn high APYs and, most importantly, acquire limited supply NFTs via staking. In the future, Limited edition NFTs will only be acquired via staking $MRUN tokens. This will eventually make the NFTs, as well as the MRUN economy, more liquid and robust.
